two episodes into season 2, no need to watch it anyway since everybody on my friends list always live posted what was going on as it was happening up until like season 4

when the series ends I suppose.
14 Name: Anonymous : 2017-02-28 15:31
I honestly did not like the show, because it did not follow the comic in the beginning, in season 1
But then I just thought of it as it's own little world aside from the comic. And the show was decent.

>>5,10
I agree that was bullshit, but if you followed along with the show still the way he dies is the way in the comic book. Abraham dies way before that point in the story.

Honestly I'm surprised they skipped over the cannibals part so quickly.

A little bit after this. Realized how depressed it makes me and havent looked back.

After the final season of Lost, I no longer stick around and hate-watch a show hoping for a payoff. I don't think it's possible with a show following the same set of people to remain fresh after anything longer than five seasons. That's when I bailed.

I'm just saying they could've done more with the cannibal's part and where the dafuq did those wolves even come from?
That shit was mad retarded.

The idea of the comic book was to just follow Rick.
Everyone and literally everyone was expendable.
His wife and kid die in the book, but not by childbirth but by getting gunned the fuck down.
That was some good ass writing.

Made it like 3 or 4 episodes into this last season. Negan is kinda cool but I honestly just don't give a fuck anymore.
46 Name: Anonymous : 2017-03-02 01:01
Whatever episode it was when they had to leave the jail. It was getting old by then anyways.

As soon as I realized in an hour long airing, I was watching 35 minutes of the same shitty commercials and 25 minutes of repetitive zombie storyline
48 Name: Anonymous : 2017-03-02 03:03
>>14
yeah i saw the scene. pretty good death and the guy who plays negan is great (the character is shit tho) but i didn't like that he killed Abraham first.
The cannibals part was treated as filler in the series, it was way better in the comics.
Anyways, i think the series just doesn't do justice to the comic, it's more like a toned down, lazy version.
Could've kept me watching if they just cut off that damn hand

a little after the governor/prison scene, for sure peak of the series... a season later and Id lost interest after this guy came in

Honestly people here's some background. If I'm not mistaken this comic book takes place in the 80's or 90's, and was written then. You can see Rick say something like "people were looting T.V.'s and VCR's before they realized canned food was valuable." or some shit like that.
Image decided to start reprinting it ,but I'm not sure why.
About a decade ago I started reading this book, I'm 21-22. Honestly the book just gets better and better as you read trust me. I've been reading this shit for a decade, it never got old imo.

I still tune in with mild entrance. I download the latest episode on Mon/Tues and see what happened. It's not exciting anymore and the writing in Season 7 has been fucking atrocious.

They tried so hard to stick the comic's arc but are absolutely butchering it.

They took all of Alexandria's guns so they had to make up some community of lesbians who live near the ocean where they'll get all their guns back
The entire cast becomes ordinance and demolition experts in one episode when having to disarm dynamite
Instead of getting All Out War started early, they're making Ezekiel turn out to be a huge pussy (he's not like this in the comics)
They did the above so they could drag the entire season out

The Eugene centered episode wasn't too bad surprisingly. We got some Dwight feels, which in the next couple of episodes will build up to him betraying Negan.

The whole Carol emo runaway bullshit is super annoying but she goes full psycho again in a couple of episodes.

interesting
the scene was interesting, she was just weird. weird does not equate to interesting. her character does not fit into the universe. they just decided to shoehorn in the wrong dystopian sterotypes, the weird predicate only sentences, the almost-names like jadis and tamil.

did you watch it muted or something?
show rick up up up
goddamn i cringed

forgot to put in the parentesis i was talking about the series. I wouldn't know if he was any good in the comics tho, because i left at like chapter 85 or something. couldn't find the rest in mexican at that moment. Now it's been 5 years so i don't remember shit.

O nvm, I was wrong I guess it just takes place in earlier times, I mean notice there is hardly any form of new tech in the comics.

Amazon buy a graphic novel, not comics too expensive and hard to keep in order.
Graphic novels are bigger (like issues 1-5 or something like that)

I stopped liking it when they kept doing dumb things so around s02 i guess. Kept watching for the gore but finally quit after a few eps this season.
