Except for being set in high school. it's more like a Freddy Kruger movie or a possession movie. Michael Ironside is wasted in it.

Yeah. I love this one. The third one is a direct sequel to 2, in case you have't seen it. It's not nearly as good, but stupid enough to be fun.

I wonder if it was originally supposed to be a sequel to Carrie but they couldn't get the rights.

I thought it was OK. Pretty good villain in Mary Lou.

Fun sequel, despite its influences are obvious. Some crazy visuals too.
