Even if black people in the ghetto really say "n!gger" "fûck", and smoke the amount of blunts, and talk stupid, and engage in as much criminal activity as portrayed in this movie do we really need to see it? When ever one of these hood movies are on T.V. how many of you just leave it on just to observe the behavior?

No, it's decent. It's not as good as the hype though (no pun intended). And the ending is just out of the blue and not believable.

There's a couple scenes that are really good though, like the one with Nas going to the PJ's and meeting up with the little dude and the homeinvasion-scene in Jamaica is epic, and the scenes with Method Man are highlights as well.

But yeah overall it's very much style over substance, but the style though.

It's the kind of movie you only really appreciate if you are a rap-fan and even then it's not really a given because the characters are so extremely unlikeable.
