After he appears on stage, Chris Rock will ask everyone in the audience who agrees that the Academy Awards are racist to join him in walking out.

It's going to be a short night.

If he's really planning to do this, then I'm sure the Academy will hear about it and provide a backup (or else hire someone else for the job).

There's no proof that the Academy voters denied worthy actors and actresses of nominations based on racism.

I suspect that these people would rather destroy the Academy than to accept that they weren't being discriminated against.

Maybe they should just forget the awards ceremony this year (and every year from now on) and just announce the winners in a press conference.

This whole thing is being ruined by a few people so why bother with it anymore.

I think - and I hope - Chris Rock will be poking fun at this phoney "boycott."
