So how was X-files?

All the faggot reviews have been bitching about the X-files staying with the old stories from the show, but if you change the story it;s no longer the X-files, so i guess all the sites bitching about the x-files are full of crap and shit and maybe some piss.

Didn't watch it myself but I was just reading the general reaction elsewhere out of curiosity.
Not great, not terrible is what I took from most places.

Press reviewers, who mostly seem to have seen the first three episodes already, unanimously agree that the first is the least of them.

Not as bad as it's made out to be.

Better than reviewers have said.

Apparently the next two episodes are amazing.

You should see a psychiatric professional immediately.

I watched it. Just never understood the obsession. Plus it ended horribly and nothing was ever resolved.

It's a good show but I fail to see the obsession as well.

I fail to see the obsession with Inherent Vice, but, people like what they like.

What obsession?

Says the same "SFBE" guy who claims the Halo books have some of the best stories ever made.

Your opinion is irrelevant.

I've mentioned this before, but the only X-Files episode I ever saw was years and years ago, randomly late one night, and it was the one with a bunch of inbred southerners including a horrifying limbless mom-thing on a sled under a bed, where they roll her out and she's just screaming crazily. Young me was just like "nope" and that was it, ha.

Much later a buddy explained that the episode I just happened to catch was a really creepy standalone one that had nothing whatsoever to do with the overall story, and he cracked up that it was my only exposure to the show.

But anyway, I guess I also saw the movie at some point, and all I remember is the chick got abducted and the guy had to rescue her from some Antarctic alien lair or some crap.
