If he claims the Oscar's are racist then he should give back his Oscar to show he is serious.

I wish Hollywood would give back Spike Lee, although I don't know who would take him.

But assuming - and one has to descend to the intellectual slums to do this - that the crusade should be taken seriously, it's idiotic to counter the suggestion that too few Oscars have been given to black people, by taking one of those Oscars away from a black person.

But I believe Spike Lee is enough of a foaming-at-the-mouth ideologue to actually do something so idiotic. I don't mean that he will; but who knows, he might.
