This guy has done almost nothing. It's a recipe for disaster. There will never be another great Star Wars movie.

Looper and Brick were great.

He will be a huge improvement over Hollywood's resident franchise rebooting hack.

Anyone who can look at Abrams's Star Trek and think "Wrong guy for Star Wars" and then look at the wet blanket of a film that is Looper and think, "Right guy for Star Wars"' clearly sees the world in a very strange way. Are there pills we can take that help us see what your world is like?

Looper is awesome. Trek '09 was meh.

If Disney was smart they would do what Fox did with AlienS. Hire someone who has a great hit movie under his belt, not gamble on a director of douchey Indies for hipsters.

He's certainly Disney's most daring choice - and he looks to me a very bad choice. Neither of his films is particularly accomplished, and even if you're one of the Looper groupies, you'll have to admit that film is dour, downbeat and joyless. He appears to be the last thing Star Wars needs; but you never know: he might rise above his past and produce something exciting.

I find your lack of brain disturbing.

Johnson is inventive, original and definitely not a studio lap dog...so yeah, he shouldn't be involved with any Star Wars vanilla.
