Living in Wisconsin i was familiar with the case. I have yet to finish the series but have talked with many about it. I have no problem with maybe taking a second look at this but I do have that people ignore how easy it is to manipulate viewers based on how something is out together.

I wasn't on the jury but for those who are now 100% positive Avery is innocent, I just wonder if they aren't letting emotion get to them. The guy was wrongly convicted of rape. His problems with the law in the past along with a fairly striking resemblance to the actual racist made it difficult for him(and he did have many people as alibis so I do believe they really blew it). That being said he was going to prison regardless on other charges. That doesnt in any way justify his being falsely accused and convicted but I do think some forget that he didn't spend all the time he did in prison on a false charge.

Anyway, what I can't figure out is whether or not people believe the cops brought her SUV and remains back to salvage yard ignoring any evidence that might have led them to the actual killer(or maybe they believe they killed her). It would be a huge conspiracy, 2 counties and dozens of cops.

I believe a good film maker could make us feel sympathetic for drew Peterson or Scott Peterson if they chose to. The documentary I believe brings up some valid points but because if this I'm seeing people 100% convinced they have it all figured out and something about that bugs me. Again, I'm not opposed to taking a second look but do worry when people watch a documentary. Hell, in remember watching things on TV(like dateline mysteries or true crime shows) and they'd all but convince us one guy was guilty and then do a big reveal showing hownhe couldn't be and then pursue a different
avenue.

Am I the only guy who feels this way(or does anyone even know what I'm talking about?
