I cannot recommend this documentary {now on Netflix} highly enough! It was so, so, so much fun to watch! It chronicles the odd story of most of the craptastic schlock films we all love to hate. I learned so much stuff I didn't need to know, but am glad to have learned.

Both hilarious and insightful, it is not to be missed!

I loved the final text on screen before the credits. Golan or Globus (can't remember which) heard they were making this documentary & rushed out their own competing documentary which they got in the theaters first. Hilarious.

Not quite hollywood the wild untold story of ozploitation is another documentary I'd recommend from the same director.

Might not to be to everyone's taste if your not familiar with Aussie Cinema but it follows a similar vein to Electric Boogaloo. The Dennis Hooper segment is a right laugh here's the trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLm1ppE_Ib0 .

I watched it on Netflix last week. It was a total hoot. I loved Cannon's schlocky action pics when I was in high school, and I still smile when I see the Cannon logo come up at the start of a movie.

After watching "Boogaloo" I was inspired to re-visit a couple of Cannon oldies, starting with "Revenge of the Ninja" and "Ninja III: The Domination," both of which are viewable in their entirety on Paramount's YouTube channel.

Oddly, CoziTv had Breakin' and Breakin' 2 on last night! Great, weird timing...but they were on too late for me to see.

I'm sure not buying them!
