She's cute (Jenna Coleman), but she is a terrible companion for the Doctor. There's nothing special about her anymore, and the show did nothing to really develop her character after her 1st season.

I am glad she is finally gone.

i know but i liked her she was passionate beautiful with full of joy and love and encouragement and she was good..jenna did a great job, although moffat didn't happen to notice the importance of the character well enough......im sad that it wasn't better for the whole show, but at least to me she was perfect.

Don't worry, the next companion will surely be another vanilla attractive white girl that has another boring backstory, just like every other companion in the new series, except Donna (which is why she's the best).

Nope, didn't forget Martha at all. She's about as black as Tiger Woods though, which is to say not at all. Not like they even tried to develop that side of her character, even. She just "happened" to be black, and that was it. So, she may as well have been white, red, or any other skin color.

Martha was easily the worst companion of the all in the new series.
