I liked the look and the concept of this film better than its actual achievement. Bradley Cooper is good, but hardly challenged as the legendary chef in a story of redemption. Sienna Miller is solid as his love interest, but too many other actors (Omar Sy, Uma Thurman, Alicia Vikander, even Emma Thompson) are wasted in smallish roles. Lack of solid pacing is another issue. Without recommending it, I give this a film a slightly generous 5/10.
