There isn't that much full-frontal female nudity in Hollywood movies--there's a lot less than there USED to be or than there is in Europe. There is even less male frontal nudity, but that might partly be because males can't hide their actual genitalia with a crotch patch or a "merkin" like females can and often do in "full-frontal nude scenes".

Males are probably MORE likely to go shirtless than females--it's just not considered nudity.

Bare butts do count and that is pretty equal. Your whole premise that there is significantly more female nudity is simply faulty.

What amuses me is that men constantly say women have beautiful bodies. But
what they really mean is women who are slim with perfect proportions and no freckles, moles, scars, tattoos, big feet etc have beautiful bodies. Why not just admit that that's what you really mean?

You're referring to Games of Thrones, I'm guessing. Haven't seen it. That and Magic Mike and Shame are held as examples of how we're positively INUNDATED by male nudity. It's the other way around, though. There's practically no male nudity and tons of female nudity. It's why I've just about stopped watching modern movies. Yet this is still not enough for men. ANY men, even showing their chest (for some reason fine in locker rooms), is being subjected to non stop male nudity; and women have to be naked, head to crotch, 24/7, for admission of female nudity. No dressed women ever or female nudity doesn't exist and never existed.

I know right! I know people who are A. repulsed by male genitals, or B. repulsed by homosexuality, and I always bring up the psychological "you're probably repressing your own urges" type thing. They think it's ridiculous, but I really don't see how people can be more repulsed by those things than gore (I'm not repulsed by gore, but it's an understandable fear), so it seems to me they're using a defense mechanism to hide the fact that they are not repulsed at all.

I'd say it's a fact that more men have an interest in film than women. This would be the answer to the question. Since more movies are targeted at men than women, producers are more likely to advocate putting something in the film appealing to the target audience, than something that is not.
