... after that final scene on the beach. It was rather sneaky and surprisingly emotional.
It was like "movie, movie, movie... oh snap, they're talking about the real world now".
The entire film was this ludicrous (ehhhhh?) over-the-top cheeseball fest, which Vin Diesel took way too seriously by the way, that had me rolling my eyes or guffawing, and not in a good way, at the pure ridiculousness of it all.
The whole time I was thinking "how in the hell did this film get so well reviewed?"... and then that emotional sucker-punch of ending comes. I mean, I was never once upset over the death of Paul Walker, but, man, that scene really got to me. Powerful stuff.
