I lasted about 30 minutes. Granted, I was very tired when I started it, but if it was interesting I probably would have made it through. I will try again, but man, what a snooze fest. 30 minutes in and I found the main character pretty unlikable. Does it get better?

I loved the movie (I was glued to the screen for the entire run time) but I do understand why people hate it or found it boring.

Does it get better? that depends on the viewer.

Maybe it was my mood combined with my expectations (I was thinking more, quirky comedy). I've enjoyed most of PT's work, and I'll totally try again.

It is a very confusing film but on purpose. Imo it is meant to feel like a drug infused haze considering the film is about a hippie PI.

It has a very deliberate pacing. I think you should watch it again. Its a good movie but not a great movie. It is a "slow burn" type of story. Not the quirky action comedy as was advertised.
