Which is a terrible, TERRIBLE name. OK so I'm up for a Prometheus series that focuses on the Engineers and that eventually will conclude with a link-up to Alien. But Ridley Scott himself said that we shouldn't expect the classic 'Alien' to pop up in the immediate sequel to Prometheus. Even if I were to not believe him here and say that I do expect hints towards the past Alien films, why still have 'Alien' in your title when you want to focus on the Engineers?

Remember back in 2012 when the rumours were that the sequel would be called 'Paradise'? I thought that sounded great. Or just 'Paradise Lost' sounds OK too. But this title that Ridley's given us is not just confusing, it's clunky too and on par with Exodus: Gods and Kings.

Looking forward to the movie (was a big fan of the first one, warts and all) but yep, a fail title, especially if Ridley sticks to his guns that there won't be any Xenomorphs in the sequel and they just put ALIEN in the title to reel in more box office receipts. Prometheus was a box office success after initially being promoted as a standalone sci-fi adventure flick.
