In terms of the action sequences defying all conceivable plausibility, pretty much all laws of physics or human survival possibilities?
Not counting actual sci-fi/supehero franchises.
Having seen Furious 7....I'd have to say it is. There's absurd, and then there's Loony Tunes absurd. The only way they can top this in Furious 8 is if Dom swallows an A-bomb bomb and survives with a bit of 'tummy ache.'
We have James Bond, Bourne, Taken, Mission Impossible, Rambo, there's a lot...but for me Furious just outguns them all in this particular department.
Not sure at all if that's a compliment - if you care at the slightest for a film maintaining any kind of believability, probably not....but if you just want to watch impossible feats, I suppose it is.

I never bothered to watch a single one. They seem akin to 8 year olds playing with Matchbox cars.

To each his own, I think the F&F films are pretty awesome. Fast 6 & 7 did have some OOT action scenes but if you think they're absurd & OOT, you ever see the Machete films?
