I don't want just to pass the time enjoyably. I prefer movies for that.
I only want shows that you get really excited to watch the next one, for whatever reason that is.
Also, i know that some of them don't have a real ending, but i don't care about that. The trip matters more.

I guess Deadwood, but none of the shows I've seen here are "addictive", at least for me. Did you ever watch The Wire?

i am actually re-watching The Wire, which makes for my 2nd viewing total of it, as i started Aug 9th and i am now on Season 2 Episode 5 and it's holding steady so far on my 7.5-8/10 rating which makes it my #3 TV show ever behind The Sopranos/Breaking Bad (both 10/10's).

I've only seen the first two and the last one, and of those three, Rome is the most addictive...

given my initial viewing of it(which is back around the time it was new), it definitely stood out and i also don't consider myself much of a fan of animated movies in general.

p.s. i have re-watched it since and it dropped a bit but it's still solid. basically it loses steam once L dies (major spoiler there!) but up until that point it was pretty strong and still decent enough afterwards.

Depends...If you like the eras they exist in, Deadwood and Boardwalk Empire are certainly addictive...Both develop their complex story lines over time quite well...The only other one I've seen from the list is Firefly, which is an enjoyable little series...
