Park-Chan wook is such a visual, operatic director that he could direct an ad for McDonald's and have it be a beautiful and dazzling ode to burgers.

Stoker is weak in plot, however I didn't care because the direction is mesmerizing. The cinematography, the music, the costumes, everything about the film which isn't based on story is excellent. If Suspiria from Dario Argento were to ever be remade, I'd choose Park Chan-wook to direct it because nobody is able to create something as precious from confusion like he does.
