The Transporter

There were three films in the original series, a TV series in 2012, and now a reboot film; spanning three actors all playing the same character. Now I'm aware of how Hollywood works, and that anything decent will have as much milked out of it as possible, but when it's done to this extent, the original is at least usually good. The original is a terrible film, and possibly the worst of the original series. And the character, isn't a good character. What's the motivation behind all the interpretations and keeping him alive? It's an uninteresting, cliched character of a franchise that was eventually not even profitable anymore. I can understand a reboot or a tv series, but both?! None of the original three films were especially good (not really good at all, actually) or successful.
