I watched a film called The Dark Knight the other night

Has anyone here heard of this movie? I don't think I've seen it mentioned here
2 Name: Anonymous : 2015-08-31 22:05
I think I saw it once, thought it was garbage

That dark haired guy and the guy with the moustache - never seen them in films before - are they well known or what?
4 Name: Anonymous : 2015-09-01 03:30
No idea. Was this the one where the guy with lung cancer in a halloween costume punches Oskar Schindler or the one where he punches that gay guy wearing make up?
5 Name: Anonymous : 2015-09-01 03:56
Yeah, something like that. Rather strange film. Maybe it is one of those "cult hits" or something.
6 Name: Anonymous : 2015-09-01 04:10
Probably, I didn't even hear about it until about a year after it came out

I'm not even joking that's true.

I thought it was a movie about power outages. I could not understand what the K was for.
8 Name: Anonymous : 2015-09-01 04:51
Is that the film about a royal knight who fights the legendary dark knight? Pretty sucky movie.
9 Name: Anonymous : 2015-09-01 05:16
Pretentious hipster idea most likely.
10 Name: Anonymous : 2015-09-01 05:44
I'm sure you were pretty impressed. The whole time you must have though "Oh God I'm not worthy of witnessing such cinematic prowess".

That film happens to be the best cinema experience of my life if we rule that one time I got a blowjob in the cinema.

I doubt it, shipmate. I make a very unconvincing woman.

She sounded very man like that and kept going on about the navy and some idiots called Rodney and Del.

Rodney and Del are idiots, everyone knows that. It could have been anyone, shipmate. Did she box for the navy?

I would watch it anon, but I don't like Martin Lawrence.
24 Name: Anonymous : 2015-09-01 08:34
my cousin actually once confused this film with that Martin Lawrence flick.
25 Name: Anonymous : 2015-09-01 08:46
I don't think he was in this one Uncle.
26 Name: Anonymous : 2015-09-01 08:59
He made all the gadgets.
27 Name: Anonymous : 2015-09-01 09:07

Good thanks

Glad to see this film has more fans. It was a dark movie (if you'll pardon the pun) but I quite enjoyed it.

Never heard of it. Is it some obscure foreign movie?
30 Name: Anonymous : 2015-09-01 09:36

The modern arthouse foreign classic Le Chevalier Noir (2008)?

Ah, it must have been dubbed then. I thought the lead actor's voice was odd when he put on that black costume.
32 Name: Anonymous : 2015-09-01 09:48
The Dark Knight? Sounds vaguely familiar. Medieval fantasy film, is it?

I was one of the lucky (unlucky?) few to experience Le Chevalier Noir in its limited theatrical release.
34 Name: Anonymous : 2015-09-01 09:59
Did you like it then? It's said to be "too artistic" for some. Some say "too experimental", "foreign hipster nonsense", etc.

I wonder what other movies the director has made.

I do believe he also made a sequel called 'Le Chevalier Noir se Lève', but that one I don't even think got any form of cinematic release.

I remember Le Chevalier Noir being booed at the screening I attended, yet many claimed that its transcendental nature was too far ahead of its time for such an audience. I don't think the Romanian new wave films such as Le Chevalier Noir are appropriate for most audiences due to the experimental nature.

Oh there's a sequel is there? Didn't think a film like that would get a sequel tbh.

I think you're right. I mean I liked it; but I must be in the minority.

Yeah many were surprised that such an obscure and poorly received film got a sequel.

I think you're right. I mean I liked it; but I must be in the minority.

I didn't like it - but I think that it must have just gone over my head. After all, it is a pretty deep, complex, and layered film that few truly understand.

Indeed.

Hahaha!
40 Name: Anonymous : 2015-09-01 10:55
Yeah I heard the guy who played the villain put his entire life into the performance.
41 Name: Anonymous : 2015-09-01 11:03
I don't watch low budget indies sorry
42 Name: Anonymous : 2015-09-01 11:11
The sequel is really good too: dark knight XX

I didn't realize they made that many.
