What are your honest thoughts on the MPAA?

Like it, don't like it? Think any other rating system in the world is better?

A very flawed rating system.

MPAA is full of idiots. 'The King's Speech' somehow shares the same rating with 'Saw: The Final Chapter'.
BBFC is much better.

The BBFC does have more ratings than the MPAA, 8 to 5.

6, actually. U, PG, 12, 15, 18, and R18 (only for hardcore porn).
12A is same as 12. Uc has been dropped.

>>5What about "E" for exempt?
7 Name: Anonymous : 2015-08-26 16:59
The King's Speech is rated 15, right?
8 Name: Anonymous : 2015-08-26 17:03
>>7It was, and it dropped to 12A (Contains strong language in speech-therapy context).

outdated
10 Name: Anonymous : 2015-08-26 17:11
Billion times better than the CBFC.
11 Name: Anonymous : 2015-08-26 17:15
People are calling MPAA an idiot. Yours must be much worse.
12 Name: Anonymous : 2015-08-26 17:19
Yup. No rating board which gives Furious 7 the same certification as Django Unchained has any credibility.
13 Name: Anonymous : 2015-08-26 17:22
Not my taste. The rating system is just too biased for my tastes sometimes.
14 Name: Anonymous : 2015-08-26 17:24
Like I've said, 'The King's Speech' somehow shares the same rating with 'Saw: The Final Chapter'.

If you're a movie drops the F bomb at least four times, then poof, the R rating will magically appear on your film.
All hail the MPAA.
