Actors who keep to doing audience friendly films/big budget productions. And are there man actors who do both consistently?

Jake Gyllenhaal and Ryan Gosling for example. Both seem to have done a few large production films but they seem to prefer and even excel at lower budget films which allow them freedom.

Ben Affleck (before his recent turn around) was always a guy in bigger film projects. Large budget especially audience pleasing roles.
