He was known to put on some weight for the fatman roles so I could imagine him getting in shape for this, how about you?

Lon Chaney Jr. would've been better.

Could Stallone have played Batman in 89? I could actually see this. He was great as the quiet, torchered, loner in First Blood. He could pull off Batman but I don't know about Bruce Wayne.

I've been a fan of Stallone since Rocky came out, but I can't see it.

Try picturing Stallone dressed in all black sitting at the bat computer in the Batcave in this movie. Like the scene where Bruce finds out Napier killed his parents. I can see it.

I can picture - but I don't like what I'm seeing!

I can't see it but it's no more ridiculous than the thought of Bill Murray doing it.

Stallone can't act though IMO. So, no way in hell.

Hell, I could see Seagal doing it over Stallone. And considering his contract with Warner Bro's at the time - it might have very well been discussed.

Surprisingly he had the good look and build in 1989 to play Bruce Wayne. I can totally see it now:
http://media.baselineresearch.com/images/83221/83221_full.jpg He looked more like Bruce Wayne than Michael Keaton did.
