(of course it could be a black female bond for all I care) Will all the talk from time to time about perhaps a black actor taking over for Bond after Craig, I was kind of thinking, why not go female as well.

I mean the character is already changed up from time to time, so anyone saying they should stay true to the character can honestly *beep* off, because the character, while maintaining certain traits, is ever changing. While making a black Bond would be great for breaking racial border and so on, there is nothing you can say there that you can´t also say for casting a female. I think that casting a female as Bond would freshen up the franchise, play with the conventions.

She could still be quippy, badass, sexually harass the opposite gender and so on. I am not saying this to try and even out female leading roles in hollywood (though it helps), but mostly because I think it would be an opening for lots of fun possibilities for a franchise like Bond, see very few reasons to why not do so for a short run.
