Yes, so sad.
I grew up knowing this lady, she was so good, started out as a singer and then became a natural tv performer. All her shows were a success and also I saw her in the late 70's performing live for 2 hours of singing and comedy, she was wonderful.

RIP

Grew up with her hit songs on the radio, she made some good'uns.

She first sang at The Cavern and was buddies with the Beatles since their Cavern days, and Lennon/McCartney even wrote her first single release.

She was sappy and annoying in the TV shows later, but she was a good belter style singer in the 60s.

72 is way too young, I'm a bit shocked. Thought she'd be around at 90. RIP Cilla.
