What do we think of Strickland's minor masterpiece? I rarely see it mentioned, yet I think it's one of more interesting films of recent years. With its beautiful sound design, nods at Giallo and an almost Lynchian level of narrative abstraction and attention to visual detail, surely it's a cinephile's wet dream.

I have been meaning to watch it, and also want to watch his recent release "The Duke of Burgundy".
