Did anyone find Jack Hardemeyer to be a very underrated character in Ghostbusters II? For some reason I feel his character doesn't get enough recognition in the movie and I find him to be one of the most underrated characters in the first two Ghostbusters movies.

A deleted scene shows him getting taken in by the slime at the museum.

But during the end credits of the film you see him in the crowd of onlookers at the museum.

That's probably why the scene was deleted, or that ending shot was added after they decided to cut the scene out.
