American Guinea Pig: Bouquet of Guts and Gore (2014)

Just finished watching this sick little movie. It is what it is, 3 guys in masks paralize 2 chicks, give them some LSD, and torture them to death while filming it. The effects are top notch and disgusting. I thought Headless would the be the sickest flick I watched in 2015 but this one tops it in my opinion. Anyone else seen it? I'm not a fan of this style of film. Usually they bore me. However, this one I will see because I've heard how brutal it is and I want to see if I can handle it. Marcus Koch is a special effects wizard and very few can create gore on his level. Plus Jimmy Screamerclauz doing the music sounds discomforting in itself.

From the reviews it seems like an autopsy on living people. Is there something more to it?

Not really, although I doubt they take razor blades to eyeballs and hammers to teeth, etc... during a real autopsy...

Looks brutal as hell. One reviewer on IMDb says:

The ending pushes things over a line that is too horrific for many to even consider. Well done to everyone involved in the making of this film!!! The standard for gore and practical effects has been reset!

Guess it has to be seen. Good to have that nervousness about watching a film again.. maybe December.

That's enough to make any gorehound want to see it.

...just too bad they never seem to come up with a good movie surrounding the gore, when it comes to films like this.

Anywho.....time to look for it.

It's more implied, it shows them about torture a baby and little boy to death before the credits roll.

That's my "problem" with it too. It does not have that disturbing effect, as i didn't get to form any emotional connection with any of the characters. Did not liked Japanese Guinea Pigs too much either, so yea, did not enjoyed this one too much.

Effects were ok, a little over the top.

Now, few specific things that i found pretty goofy:
- The kidnapping. It seems directed by Wile E. Coyote. Gas bomb in a car... It might be a reference to some other movie that i'm not familiar with. If not, is just goofy and ineffective.
- I felt like i'm trying to get my licence in UK. "Always on the left! Never on the right!" "Slower!". I was curious about that thing, but i did not saw it explained. Why the left? What's so bad about the right?
- The "torture part". Is it still called "torture" if the victims can't feel anything? What's the point of it? Even if they were feeling, they were not vocal about it, so, not too effective for some sadistic murderers. I remember that in original movies there was a little struggle at beginning, before administrating the drugs. Not so much here, but i think it was a smart decision, as the actors did not seemed too good. Also, i think that was the point of the masks. You can't really act too bad with a mask on your face.
- Too much blood! There was blood for 4 victims from the first one. Also, the cuts. The blood is not pouring that way as soon as the blade is touching the skin. Especially on dead person or on a body part where the circulation is obstructed, you might not even get blood too easily. For second victim they went for an good old skinning. That one looked way too fake. There's no way you can skin someone so easy, otherwise, we would skin ourselves by mistake.
- You can't cut bones this easily. Especially with a shovel with some teeth. I needed to get some pork legs cut. One the joints it was easier, but no job for saw. Knife gets the job done much better. On the bone, you need a saw, but you need a good grip, some pressure, and it's pretty hard. Was funny when the main guy was trying to cut around the knee, and other guy is telling him "it's too thick, go upper", and it goes much easier on the femur, biggest bone from our body.

5/10 from me. It was pretty entertaining, but pretty pointless and with some flaws.
