Just saw this last night. I recalled it vaguely as a kid when it came out on video but I don't think I saw it all. Another 80s gem!

Jennifer Rubin is so cute in this! Some laugh out loud dialogue (Doctor Addicted Buttface!), interesting characters, and gore.

Bruce Abbott from the Reanimator films! Awesome.

Harris Yulin from Ghostbusters 2! Yes.

Also interesting to note that it has two actors associated with Rob Zombie (E.G. Daily and Richard Lynch), two actors from They Live (Sy Richardson and Susan Barnes, revolutionaries), and two actors from the NOES films (Charles Fleischer the other, as a doctor again!).

Very derivative of NOES 3, but I was even thinking that films like Barker's Lord of Illusions and Argento's Trauma were inspired by some of it (the cult-members listening like sheep to the demented leader, and the scene where all the mental patients are let out in the hallway. "You did it!").

And holy crap, the soundtrack! Johnny Rotten's My Way and Guns N Roses' Sweet Child of Mine

In fact, the scene where that guy Ralph freaks out, self-mutilates himself, and wrecks the place, is more disturbing than any Friday the 13th or Scream crap.

Jennifer Rubin was a major babe. She doesn't get mentioned or remembered nearly enough. Did you ever see her in Screamers? Yowza yowza yowza.

I liked it but wasn't crazy about the soundtrack or Jennifer Rubin. I didn't think she was very attractive or a great actress. The alternate ending, which I liked, is included as an extra on the DVD.

I remember this film i had it on vhs, shame the ending sucked.
