Horror movies should be no longer than 90 minutes.

I roll my eyes at movies like 'Rosemary's Baby' that takes 2 hours and 17 minutes to tell a freakin story. You could easily cut 40 minutes of filler BS out of crap like that. It should be 3 acts, 30 minutes per act, get in and get out, thank you officer.

yes i agree rosemary' baby was a little stretchy, but it was a slow burn horror, for that it can be excused but movies like the shining 2 hours is necessary. Runtime doesn't bother me if it doesn't bore me, get me yeah?

Nope. The latest Insidious was just shy of 100 minutes and it was too rushed. Should have had more back story and time between attempted scares.

>>3Wrong, the Insidious sequels try to do too much and over explain crap, that's why they feel rushed. Horror movies don't need to explain every detail to you, they should try being more mysterious instead.

They do try to cram a lot and that's where they've sacrificed the element of mystery. You don't have time to get into it because you have everything thrown at you including the kitchen sink.
