The Human Centipede III - Final Sequence (2015)

Two hours of watching an unhinged German shout obscenities, a plot that had more holes in it than a tramp's vest, the centipede only showed up at the end (and the poster gives it away anyway, killing any impact)...an absolute abomination of a film.

Compared to the Human Centipede II, there was very little gore- the only decent bit was the castration scene. Even the rape of the girl in a coma was a bit 'meh' compared to the barbed wire rape in the previous film, it was lame compared to some of the stuff going on in 'A Serbian Film' and 'Lucker'.

The concept of the human caterpillar was disturbing, but that barely had any screentime. Once you're used to the concept of a human centipede, the shock value has gone, whether there are 3 people, 16 or 50. Seen it all before.

The first film was a good way of introducing the concept gently, to get people used to the idea before exposing us to Human Centipede II, which is a full on gore-fest and also a good character study of loneliness, obsession and insanity. It was like a modern-day grindhouse film. But this latest one? No redeeming features whatsoever, a bore-fest rather than a gore-fest.

I think Mr Six needs some fresh ideas.

A lot of good points, but what is this "Lucker" you speak of? An google search turns up nada. Link or it didn't happen.

Me and my cerebral palsy-stricken father is reading this, my hand over his mouth, my head thrown back with laughter.

I wasn't expecting a masterpiece or anything great. I was just expecting something over the top, sick, disturbing, and something to gross me out. The second one in the trilogy blew the first out of the water. Better in every way and lived up to the hype. It's rare that horror films go that far these days. Tom Six said this film would make the second look like My Little Pony. I don't know why but I was expecting something focked up like Mordum. Not only was it weak but it was too terribly made. Nothing really grossed me out. All the "gross" scenes were just stupid and not dark at all. The only scene I kinda cringed at was the human caterpillar scene. Bill Boss wasn't even funny or offensive. Just annoying. Yet he was the only slightly interesting character in the movie. Why the hell did Tom Six turn into a pussy for this movie? Hell it was almost as tame as the first one.

Sick content does not equal good. Watch Hitchcock.

Sounds like you need to see some Lucifer Valentine movies.

I've seen all the Vomit Gore movies. Haven't seen Perfect Child Of Satan or Black Metal Veins. He has a new vomit gore movie coming out next month.

I think that Tom Six purposely tried to piss off people with the entire series. First the mainstream. Then the entire society. And this time he had to piss off the fans. There was no way he could further than Human Centipede 2 in disturbing by torture, so he had to turn to annoying shouting and bad comedy. But he failed, because I liked that too.

Lol yes! It was the absolute worst in the series, but I enjoyed the hell out of it. I can completely see why fans dislike Human Centipede 3. From Laser's acting to the blow job noises and the death rape nightmares to the last 15 minutes. But all of it worked for me.

I was high as hell when I watched it. That might have accelerated it's awesomeness.

I haven't seen this yet but I was expecting/hoping for new levels of sick f#cked up depravity. Maybe not new levels but at least outdoing the excellent second flick on the sick-o-meter.

Expectations are lower now so maybe I'll enjoy it?

It's not that bad. Just don't build up any expectations based on earlier entries...and get ready for Dieter Laser shouting all the time.

I just think it's different. I mean it was spoken of as a comedy and comedy is probably the most subjective genre.

I liked it, but totally understand why people may hate it.

I loved it! it's so batshit over the top insane, and Dieter Laser overacts to the point of sheer brilliance, IMO! I totally applaud Tom Six for making three different films with the same concept!
