Age of Ultron discussion thread. POTENTIAL SPOILERS!

First, some of the jokes were good but most were a lil too cheesey for my taste.

Second, the love angel between black widow and banner was bullshit. I thought she was some badass not give a fuck assassin but turns out she's just another goddamn girly woman on the inside.

Third, that whole "feel good" scene with hawkeye and his family, I feel like it was stretched out too long and got corny real quick. But they prolly had to throw in a cheap, easy scene so they can spend money on the action packed scene at the end.

Lastly, even though I was complaining this whole time I loved the fucking movie because of the action. Started off with action and ended with action. Also I had no idea the mother fucking vision was gonna be in it. 8/10 first one was better but I still loved it.

Thoughts?

It definitely felt like a slow and stretched 90 minute Saturday superhero cartoon. 1st movie was 9/10, and this one is 7/10 for me. Pretty good story and plot, in spite of the blandness

Loved it.

Whedon purposefully trolled the whole movie putting every trope possible into the movie indicating that Hawkeye would die, just to do the last minute "Bet you didn't see that coming." line.

I love that bastard.

I'd give it a 8.5/10

The sub plots were pretty good and the main story was strong enough, I give it a lot of slack because it's A: a superhero movie and B: it had to try and appeal to a very large audience

I fucking loved Ultron, might have been the best movie villain to date IMO
