It's fairly well-known that A Nightmare On Elm Street had a short-lived television series back in the late 80s that was successful but saw cancellation due to protests from parents groups about the violence and gore. I've only seen very little from the show but from what I've seen it's pretty hit and miss, with every good episode it has there's a horrible one to round it out. Wonder if we'll ever get a complete DVD set.

Fingers crossed. 2 seasons of an anthology series hosted by Freddy Krueger should be good enough for any horror fan.
