The entire movie happens in 5 minute bursts for the first half, and then crams everything good into the last half hour to 40min.

I always get a lot of flak for this, but Goldeneye is my favorite.

Brosnan was always what I envisioned as bond. his face, hair, body type, voice. all of it matches to what i imagined when reading bond novels.
it's a shame that his later bond films were so terribly written and directed... Goldfinger is a very close second though.

Connery was the original, sure, but that does not make him the best. too cheesy and fucking Scottish. bond is supposed to be the ultimate British man, so a thick Scottish accent just threw me off.

Nothing against connery. amazing actor. but you may as well cast a chinese guy

most films are the same one hour of talking 20 mins of action.
