So it turns out She's the Master like everyone had guessed. I am really mad about this, because the Master has always been a Man, why change his gender? I'll tell you why, it's all these god damn social justice warriors leeching onto the fact that Stevan Moffat made it possible for Time Lords to have switch gendered regenerations.

I'm not just bashing on Moffat either, he has made some of the best episodes, in my opinion. But I feel he has succumb to the whims of SJWs wanting a female Doctor. He did not make the Doctor female, but I feel that he is testing the waters with Missy/The Master. If people react well to a female Master, then people won't mind a female Doctor, well to that I say this. All people who want to keep the Doctor with his gender that he has had throughout 50 years, then react badly to this stupid female Master.

It's nothing to do with change, The Actors in Doctor Who change every season, it's that they made an established male character female. and I believe they only did it because of SJW pressure and/or testing the waters to see how fans will react to a female Doctor.

The new Master is pretty good thus far. Liking her much more than Simm.
Annoys me that the Cybermen are once again relegated to being a generic army for plot convenience though. Hoping more becomes of them in the following episode otherwise I completely give up hope of them ever being decent villains again.

Instead of dragging things out for seasons at a time, this should've been a three parter.

Part 1: Dark Water
Part 2: Explaining why the fuck the Master is back, as a woman, and then going into the god-tier first half of Death in Heaven
Part 3: More breathing room for the clusterfuck of the ending that had a few good scenes, but wasn't tied together very well at all

There's no point with some of these episodes. The Master coming back was almost completely incidental except that it lended very well to the Doctor freaking out about Gallifrey.
I love Moffat, more or less, but Capaldi should petition BBC to clear house of the current cast of writers.

No, season 8 is genuinely shitty poor written garbage, stop marginalising Moffat he is one of the main reasons, he needs to go and they need to grow up and realise that Doctor Who being a family show which means for kids and ADULTS, isn't just making it for kids it's still meant to be compelling and entertaining and fucking well written.
