I got it at Hastings 2 days ago and watched the film with extras and i am satisfied no doubt.

WOW! this 3-disc BD or 2-disc BD (i own the 3-disc LE) is THE horror BD of the year along with the Halloween 15 disc LE set, Vincent Price Collection volume 2, Curtains, Prom Night, Sleepaway Camp, Ginger Snaps, Phantom of the Paradise or a few more and has been my most anticipated BD since it was announced in 2013 as i've been a fan of NB since i saw it 2 times in theaters when i was 8 and i had the comics (still own them) and mug with poster and waited years to see the missing footage i heard about.

Kudos to Morgan Creek/WB/Clive Barker/Scream Factory of finding the original reels of the director's true version and doing an amazing restoration of the film that you'd be hard to be convinced it was not made in 1988/1989 especially quality coloring and detail you never seen before like skin textures, stuff on make-up/creatures etc. and all that.

I first watched the TC first then the DC next as i gotta say the DC is a far superior cut than the TC as it has better characterization, more stuff to understand and a better ending no doubt. It's a shame we never got sequels to this unique late 80s/early 90s cult classic as Barker planned but with talks of an upcoming TV show (possibly for Netflix) i think that show could be a worthy follow up to this movie.

Isn't it amazing that this movie exist in 3 versions just like Blade Runner exist in 5 versions, Brazil in 3 versions, Star Wars Trilogy in 4 versions, ET in 2 versions, Legend (the Ridley Scott film) in 2 versions, Star Trek 1 & 2 in 2 versions, Close Encounters in 3 versions etc.?

20 minutes. I have it myself and it is pretty damned good!

Do you think it's a huge improvement over the original TC? and wasn't the PQ restoration amazing? you think it was filmed last year despite 80s hair/clothing/stuff with every detail you can see and great colorful presentation too.

Well you can get it on other sites for 50 bucks which is a good deal and worth every penny
