I saw Blue Sunshine for the first time a couple of days ago, and I really liked most of it. I thought the idea was really good and original, but the direction of the movie was a little uneven, and especially the ending was too rushed and a little of an anticlimax.

I really liked the bald psychos with their crazy eyes, and there was a couple of genuinely funny moments, my favorite was when the hero of the movie stole the junkies money.

Normally I don't really see any point of remaking all the old movies, but a remake of Blue Sunshine could actually be really good, with a lot more blood, more people going insane and a better ending.

I can't really decide my rating, either a big 6/10 or a small 7/10.

What do you guys think of the movie?

I liked this one a lot, but I like all of Lieberman's films. This one gets a 8/10 from me for the unique idea, the excellent conspiracy atmosphere and Zalman King's fine performance.

I like it for how weird and original it is. It reminds The Crazies.

Really like it, plus its got a kick ass 70's disco!
