Wrong Turn 6: Last Resort (2014)

And I am truly humbled. It's almost certainly the single most beautiful piece of art created since the High Renaissance. All other human achievements seem by comparison vain and grotesque. It is undoubtedly the greatest and most inspiring film ever made. They may as well just stop making films today as Wrong Turn 6: Last Resort has everything anybody could possibly ever want. Even if I raised the usual 10 bar and went to a trillion I would still have to rate this film to end all films a trillion out of a trillion. That's how good it is.
Get it watched.

Wonderful

Wow, they're up to 6 of these now? I was vaguely aware of a 3rd and had no clue of a 4th. They should make a million of them.

Indeed. I truly feel the first movie was a very good film. Fun, suspenseful, and while not original, the story was presented well. They went downhill quick. The second, third, and fourth are all below average. I've not seen the fifth or sixth, but I've heard from a good friend the fifth and sixth aren't as bad as the previous ones, so perhaps there's hope.
Point remains, they're overdoing the series into another Saw-type deal.

Yip, we're upto the sixth and this was the only one I disliked. 3 was about a busload of cons escaping into the forest only to get gruesomely murdered by the spastics, 4 had a snowy setting and was about a bunch of skiers getting violently murdered by the spastics and 5 was set during Halloween or some other fancy dress festival and featured annoying muppets getting stabbed. In a most unlikely cop shop. By the spastics.
And 6 just came out and I've already reviewed it. A spastic.
I'm afraid it should appear that us chish & fip scoffers have taken over the franchise as everyone since part 3 sports cod American accents. 4 had the Greek guy from The Football Factory, 5 had that big titted tart from Hollyoaks and this one has that fit one out of Emmerdale Farm getting her jugs out. I would aplogize but I don't really care.

The rat faced hillbilly looked a bit like Jimmy Saville

Aw come off it. Could you really see the main Wrong Turn killer presenting Top of the Pops for 30 years?

I really liked 2, maybe more than the first but after seeing 3, I gave up on the franchise. It's hard to believe they're up to 6 already.

I didn't even realize they had done a fifth. If Jeremy Sisto was dead, he'd be rolling in his grave by now. Or Eliza Dushku, if you prefer.
The third one was so stupid I have little to no respect for anyone that enjoyed it. I recall getting about 10 minutes into the fourth before I pulled a Kramer, slammed my money on the table and proclaimed "I'm out!"

Just got this one yesterday. Looking forward to seeing it. Three was awful, but the rest were pretty good.
Isn't there a chick from your part of the world in this, anon?

the one i saw was so gratuitous and with such terrible acting it became an instant masterpiece.
there's this group of young people that go to a remote location just to have sex and be at risk--- as if people couldnt have sex anywhere near the place they live!

I don't know. There's just something exciting about having sex in a remote location and putting yourself at risk to be killed by crazy inbred hillbillies.
