This movie feels more like a Wishmaster sequel than a Hellraiser movie to me. The first two movies focus on the victims while this one switches to be more about Pinhead. It had some good gore, but a pretty standard story. Overall, I found it pretty pedestrian.

I am really in the middle with H3.

I mean there's much more for Bradley to do, and he's excellent, there are some neat idea's and scenes....but a lot of it is so meh. The new cenobites are flat out stupid.

Terry Farrell is extremely bland as the lead.

The club scene is very reminiscent of the opening of Wishmaster (both written by Peter Atkins as I'm sure you know).

Speaking of Atkins...I thought he did a fantastic job on Hellraiser 2 (my favorite of the series), but much of this felt somewhat generic.

Perhaps I'm being a bit harsh because it came after part 2...but it is what it is!

It's my least favorite Hellraiser movie.

I haven't seen the most recent Hellraiser movie, though.

I think its one of the better Hellraiser films; it may be a little cheesy at times, but I liked that Pinhead was given a much more significant role in this one than the two previous films, and he delivers some of his best speeches in this one (particularly his interactions with Joey, and the scene where he first encounters JP. ).

I really enjoy this Hellraiser film. The second best sequel after part 2.

I really kinda like the first third of the film with the Pillar of Souls but once Pinhead escapes it goes downhill from there IMO,

Its different than the first two but I think its a lot of fun.

I like it much more than most and it's probably my favorite of the sequels, in all honesty.

Cheesy as hell but I have a soft, nostalgic spot for it. The Motorhead track was probably the high point for me.

it was the first one I saw, so I may be bias. I loved setting it in a city. There was some great moments. I love Paula Marshall and still wish she would have been the lead over Terry Farrell. She just was much more interesting

Funny you saying that because that's what I thought. The first two rock. Nothing against Wishmaster because I like it but this one is mediocre.

I always thought it was interesting that the two lead actresses are about the same age, but the reporter seemed about 10 years older than the club girl. Hey, I guess that's why they call it acting.

the star of the show was the main guys hair a pretty tame film, a bit stopid actually

LOL about the hair. I guess the early 90's were a rough time for some people, hairwise. The decade of hairspray was over, and people just couldn't figure out what the next trend would be.

One of my least favorite Hellraisers, I’d probably only rank it above Deader (7) and Hellworld (8) in the series. How did they go from Dr. Channard to CD and camera cenobites?

I was really offended we weren't offered action figured of the cenobites. Oh, and a castle or something like He-Man and Skeletor had.

Anything after III is crap.
