Johnny Be Good(e)? from 1988, with Anthony Michael Hall, and Robert Downey Jr at what I can safely assume is one of his Top 3 drugged-out periods of his life. Oh my God, this is beyond awful. I remember renting this dogfart when it first came out because the guys that made Revenge of The Nerds made it, and we were on a Downey buzz from his good work in Less Than Zero, but for God's balls, how could the fates conspire to even get this thing made, let alone released, to a wide audience? It's bad in a way that transcends badness.Mainly due to the talent involved, per some name actors at the time, and there is an obviously decent budget at hand, but WTF??? I'm just bringing it up because this skidmark movie is on Encore as we speak and it's got my dander up :(
