I just watched this one today and thought it was pretty good. The concept didn't interest me much so I kinda put watching it off but it exceeded my expectations and had that grand wideshot composition that trademarks older Carpenter flicks.

I always liked it, Keith Gordon is great in it and Carpenter & Alan Howarth's score is excellent as usual.

Yeah, the photography and soundtrack are top-form, in the style of Halloween, The Fog, Escape from New York. Carpenter really rocked back then.

Always really liked this film, the "show me" scene where Christine repairs herself is brilliant.

I love it. I'm a huge Stephen King fan, and I think this is probably one of the better adaptations of his work. It's so underrated and quiet, which it probably used to its advantage.
