A lot of Saw fans cite this as one of their favorites of the series, but it's always been my least favorite one (even taking into account some of the other disliked entries like 7. I just find it extremely boring and it marked when the series became more about the bloodletting than the psychological mindgames of the first two. I'm always surprised to see it rated so highly by so many. Is it anyone else's least favorite of the series? I'm a long-time Saw fan but this is the one entry I'm always hard-pressed to sit through.

I only liked the first one.

It's my least favourite as well. Jigsaw was such an important part of the series and when he died it started getting over complicated with who was involved or not.

However, my favourite trap is in this film.

I wish it was my least favorite because I really couldn't imagine the series getting worse than that after I saw it, but 4 and 7 manage to make it look like a masterpiece.

Oh yes. The guy being drowned in blended pigs and that brain surgery gorn scene are when my love for the series died.

I felt like compared to the first two, Saw III was kinda disappointing.

However, it sticks in my mind as the last Saw movie that I actually followed. None of the others seemed to have as good a plot.
