I finally watched Pieces definitely one of those movies that has to be seen to believed.
From the hilarious villain origin, to the gory scenes, silly dialogue, nonsensical twist etc.
It delivers in every possible way.

All over the place, technically sloppy, as you said nonsensical, but one of the most entertaining films I've ever seen.
The touch tone phone in 1942 is a nice touch.

Hilariously so bad its good gory horror. Cthulhu Mansion is another from the same director. The guy's films are so inept but funny.
