Messiah of Evil (1973)

I finally got my hands on a copy of this and I wasn't disappointed. Even though there were a few plot holes, this movie was pretty creepy. A few scenes really freaked me out. I must say though that the theme song was hilariously awful. Really nice 70s horror 7.5/10.

Really? I didn't mind the theme, however, the movie didn't leave too much of an impression for me, except for a scene or 2.

my favourite of the 70s "crazy" horrors...

i love how the weird guy on suit goes to bed with two gfs like he was doing the most normal thing in the world...

Yeah I was like wtf to that too, also he never seemed to "do" anything with either of them or the main girl even tho he came on to her too.

it was nice that no single phrase of his made any sense

i read it somewhere that in an unfilmed twist he was the messiah of evil himself, thats why he acted so weird. this idea was dropped! you can see the same actor played both roles!

Saw it again a week ago. Bit of a mess but odd and creepy with an early Carpenter-esque atmosphere.

Best thing about it was the title. Very Lovecraftian.
