One of the best zombie movies, where the low production values actually make the movie better. It looks more nightmarish.

My own belief is this one helped kill the cottage industry of ripping off Romero. The zombies look like they have clay pots on their heads, the prerequisite gore is amature hour quality and the only surprise about the surprise ending is the writers didn't have one.

When this thing slunk into theatres about a half a decade after it's euro release it was all but laughed off the screen and was subsequently ignored on vhs. That's right, at the height of the zombie craze in grindhouse theatres The Nights of Terror couldn't get a distributer lol It's strictly bottom of the barrel stuff that pins it's hopes on a few tasteless moments of incest to spice things up.

I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

This flick is so bad but I love it. Fix some marinara pasta with red wine and enjoy this schlock mess. It's actually quite unsettling in some parts. Mommy!

it's a so bad it's good film.

i laughed harder than in most comedies of the past 10 years.

the kid 's trousers... actually, it was not a kid, i know it it was an adult, but he was funny as hell... plus there were worms attached to the make up...

plus the scientist kept saying he was a "friend" of the zombies...

The "son" was creepier than the zombies. Ohhh, Michael! Yaghhh!

The strangeness is what elevates this film. That, and those paper mache zombies are actually pretty freaky. I reckon it holds up better than others of its ilk, that even goes for Fulci's overpraised zombie movies.
