Actually, this board is pretty damn awesome, with the exception of a few trolls. People might joke around, but it's never meant to be taken to heart. I would say everyone on here is incredibly respectful. Distasteful maybe, but that's why I love it, don't like it move over to /lounge/ they will make your life hell, lol.
