Defender Scott Dann is rested while a hamstring injury has ruled out striker Fraizer Campbell as Sam Allardyce seeks his first win as Palace boss.

League One Bolton are set to name a similar team to the one that held Palace to a goalless draw on 7 January.

Palace striker Keshi Anderson has been recalled from his loan spell at Bolton.

The winners of the tie will entertain Manchester City on 29 January (16:00 GMT).

"It is important that we go down to Palace and give it the best we can to get the best possible result, where there is a great prize for the winner," said Bolton boss Phil Parkinson.

Allardyce, 62, managed Bolton between 1999 and 2007 after two different spells at the club as a player.
