Bills fire Rex Ryan. I see a seat on a pre-game show in his future.

That will need to be a pretty large, sturdy seat!

Rams, here he comes!

They dumped ol' sexy Rob too. So it's back to male stripping for now.

Will Rob Ryan remain on to coach the last game?
6 Name: Anonymous : 2016-12-27 20:40
nope, he was fired as well

Fire sale at the Ryans.
I thought they might wait to see if they could beat the Jets.

They couldnt let him coach the last game?
9 Name: Anonymous : 2016-12-27 20:49
What's the point of firing a coach with just a few games, or especially one game, remaining in the season?

Dan Marino has played a playoff game more recently than the Bills.
11 Name: Anonymous : 2016-12-27 20:55
Are we really counting what he did against the Jaguars as "playing a game"?
12 Name: Anonymous : 2016-12-27 21:18
We don't have to. Marino's last playoff win (vs then AFC Seattle) is still more recent than the Music City Miracle.

seems like they had this planned for weeks, as reported, which means it is definitely a personality driven decision. because the bills just lost a 3 point overtime game against Miami that would have put them in very good shape to secure a playoff spot this season. regardless of that game, he was on his way to an 8-8 season and 16-16 overall record through 2 seasons.
given that the bills are starting tyrod taylor at qb and have a 1st round wr who is basically a bust since he can't stay on the field... I'd say, what on earth were they expecting through these first 2 seasons? a super bowl ring?
this is why bad franchises like Cleveland and buffalo perpetually remain bad franchises. they never give staffs time to build.
hell, it's not even like we're talking about miserable failure here. what are the bills doing?
they let marrone go after going 6-10 and then improving to 9-7
then they give ryan 2 years as well in which he goes likely 8-8 both years?
hey buffalo... maybe try given a coach more than 2 seasons to build up a system there.

Ryan was the "Defensive guru". Guess what, the defense sucks. My Aunt Irma could rush for 100 yards against the Bills.

Marrone quit.

The defense sucks, but it was one of the best in the NFL the year before Ryan arrived. That won't do a lot for his reputation.

Maybe the Ryans can come to Indy to help rebuild the Colts!

Spoken like a true Colts fan!
"Hey, I recognize this guy's name! He must be good! Let's go get him and we will return to being mediocre!"
By the way champ, your GM and head coach are both signed for three more seasons, and your owner is a knuckle-dragging Neanderthal who won't stand for eating dead money because chumps like you will keep blowing kisses at the team and emptying your wallet to support it since you don't know any better.

Shame. I hope the Bills don't go get someone competent to replace him.
If I remember correctly, Rex had his choice between Buffalo and Atlanta two offseasons ago. He chose...poorly.

Great news, ryan brothers are terrible.
