Being played in Japan right now. As usual, the European and South American champions (Real Madrid and Atletico (Colombia) get a bye to the semifinals, while the other participants have to play an extra round.
The semifinals are now set. Kashima Antlers from Japan will face Atletico and America (Mexico) will have the considerably more difficult task of getting past Real Madrid.

It hasn't all been garbage. It was pretty funny seeing the Moroccan club strip off Ronaldinho's shoes and clothes after defeating Atletico Mineiro in the semifinals.
