As a rule, I usually manage to watch all of Celtic's games live.
Recently, I have noticed at away games, many empty seats in the home teams sections while the Celtic end is invariably bursting at the seams. Celtic fans could and would be happy to fill every ground in Scotland by themselves, if they were allowed to. They have an excellent record of good behaviour when playing away. Also the other teams in Scotland could badly do with the income they would get from a full house. But either the SFA or more likely, the police refuse to compromise on the question of segregation and unsold seats in the home sections cannot be offered for sale to away fans. Why the home fans stay away, I know not. Perhaps lack of interest, fear of large groups of Glaswegian football fans or whatever, but these empty seats are a testament to the total nonsense that surrounds Scottish football.
